Londonderry Lions sell Christmas Trees to raise funds for Londonderry

The Londonderry Lions Club annual Christmas Tree sale has begun.  The trees are in.  Bring the family and pick out that “perfect tree” for your home.  They have all sizes, including some tall trees.  Come see us at the Lions Hall at 256 Mammoth Rd.  Some delivery is available.

Did you know?

The fence holding the Christmas trees was not originally intended for the tree sale.  It was once the “Beer Garden” popular for party rentals and Old Home Day adult beverage sales.  The Londonderry Selectman (before they became town councilors)  outlawed public consumption of  alcohol years ago providing a new purpose to the fenced in area.

Every dollar of proceeds from our Christmas Tree sale goes to Lions Club charities, most of which is used right here in Londonderry.  We thank you  for your support in the past and ask you to support us this year, helping us help others.

St. Mark’s Knights open 20th year of Christmas Trees

This weekend the St. Mark’s Council #10488 of the Knights of Columbus opened the tree lot on 102, its biggest fundraiser of the year, this is the Twentieth Annual Christmas Tree Sale.  It will began on Saturday, November 28th, at Chuck’s BP Station (formerly Lukoil) on Rte. 102 in Londonderry, between Dunkin Donuts and Crossroads Mall.

Londonderry Service Organizations sell Christmas trees to help others

Over 450 top quality Grade A trees, mostly from 6-8 feet in length and freshly cut in Northern New Hampshire, will be available for a minimum donation of $35-$45 each, priced by the foot.

There will also be a good selection of 9-foot and taller premium trees on sale for more.  As always, a few smaller trees, including some of “Charlie Brown” size, will be available.

The Knights, assisted by several Confirmation students, will be selling trees at the following days and times;

  • Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM
  • Monday through Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM

This will continue until they are gone.  As all trees are usually sold out by mid-December, the Knights would like to encourage everyone to pick up theirs early, especially those who wish to buy the taller, premium trees.

As in the past, all proceeds will go directly to several charities and organizations supported by the Knights of Columbus and St. Mark’s Parish, a Roman Catholic Community serving parts of Londonderry, Windham, and Hudson.
