About Robin Cam

Late in April 2007 while working in our offices a “knock, knock, knock,” coming from a storage area. Upon investigation we found the following.

The family sets up house

Robin Nest on April 28th am, started on April 29th pm Right on top of the Back-flow device for the water system! This was not going to work, it occasionally goes off (spraying water) this could result in blue egg shells everywhere! So we built a quick shelf and put the few strings, reeds, and bits of fuzz the two robins had collected on the top. No action all day Saturday (April 28th) but when we awoke Sunday the nest was nearly complete!

The right column has an image that is loaded every minute for you and your children to enjoy :) The image here is from the top of the hour. If we get some interesting shots as the family grows we will post them for you.

This was the second batch of robins the day one of the three in the nest flew off. June 24th 2009. This would be year 3 for the nest with two batches each year.

The early spring brought early nesting this year in 2010, the first group of three robins flew off  May 12th this year.  Watch for the second batch in May.  The total hatchlings raised in this nest on “robin cam” is up to 17.
