Marketing Londonderry to the World

The Londonderry Economic Development Taskforce will be holding a meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the High School cafeteria starting at 7:00 pm and ending at 9:00 pm.

Londonderry is at a virtual economic crossroad.  Good, informed decisions have to be made regarding the many favorable opportunities that now exist in regards to the community’s future with the I-93 widening, the I-93 Exit 5 improvements, and the present plan of construction of the Airport Access Road off of Route 3.

Gary O’Neil of 02-Generations of Creative EnergyThe Town has hired Gary O’Neil of 02-Generations of Creative Energy to help create the right marketing brand and message for Londonderry.  He will moderate the evening’s session in a manner that most recently proved successful in Manchester, as well as with other economic development projects his firm has counseled.  He and the Task Force need the community’s  help in defining the vision for Londonderry.  He wants your thoughts about the future of Londonderry, how we plan and use our lands, and what we tell the country, and possibly the world, about our Town.

“Londonderry has a unique opportunity to benefit from all of these activities, if we speak in one voice, and offer the right invitation to companies interested in locating to or expanding in New Hampshire.” said John Farrell, Chairman of the Londonderry Economic Development Task Force.
