Significant Storm System will impact Londonderry Sunday and Monday

6 More inches of snow, Londonderry

Winter storm watch in effect from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.

The national weather service in gray has issued a winter storm watch which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.
A storm system originating in the great lakes will intensify in the gulf of Maine on Sunday. This storm will bring the potential for more than 6 inches of snow to Londonderry and other areas of Northern New England Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.

Some coastal areas may see snow change to or mix with rain during the course of the storm which would lower the anticipated snow accumulations. Those details however are uncertain at this time. The storm will move into the Canadian Maritimes on Monday with snow tapering off by Monday morning.
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor Londonderry Hometown Online News for the latest forecasts.
