More Snow for Londonderry

From the National Weather Service, yet another forecast of significant snow for the region.

6 More inches of snow, Londonderry

Low pressure over the great lakes this evening will move east and weaken Sunday. Another low pressure system will develop near the gulf of Maine Sunday afternoon before tracking northeast. The combination of systems may bring a significant snowfall to the region, starting late tonight and lasting into Sunday evening.

Snow is expected to begin after midnight across New Hampshire and Sunday morning across western Maine. The snow will fall with varying intensity Sunday afternoon and evening. There is still some uncertainty concerning the track of the low expected to develop over the gulf of Maine. The ultimate track of this system will determine how much snow falls. At this time more than 6 inches of snow is possible.

  • Winter storm watch in effect from late tonight through Sunday evening.

A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
