Vivian L. Miller, 88, of Chester, NH, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 in the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, NH. Mrs. Miller was born Brockton, MA on August 14, 1921, daughter of the late Nels W. and Hulda A. (Anderson) Nelson. She was a resident of Chester for four years, formerly living in Florida. Mrs. Miller was an avid golfer with her husband and she also enjoyed square-dancing. She was a very gifted crafter and was attached to her cat. Mrs. Miller was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was a very nice person to all.

She is survived by two sons; Paul Miller and his wife Barbara of Chester, William “Bill” Miller and his wife Ellenor of San Diego, CA, five grandchildren; Paul Miller, Jr. of Derry, NH, Nancy Kunitake of Londonderry, NH, Karen Miller of Atkinson, NH, Cheryl Miller of Chester, Sherri Grueneis of Sammamish, WA and she is also survived by seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Arthur P. Miller in 1994.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00am in the funeral home. Cremation will follow. The burial will be in the South Easton Cemetery, Easton, MA.
