Eric Barbarossa of DracutDRACUT – Eric C. Barbarossa, 21, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died unexpectedly Saturday, December 5th, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Londonderry, NH.

He was born in Lowell on October 28, 1988, and he was the beloved son of Lionel C. “Lee” Barbarossa and Cheryl A. (Steininger) Barbarossa of Dracut. He received his early education in Dracut schools and he attended Greater Lowell Vocational High School in Tyngsboro.

Eric worked at his families business Lou’s Custom Exhaust at their Manchester, NH location.

In his free time he was an avid poker player and he had passion for antique cars. He also enjoyed playing roulette and hanging out with his friends and girlfriend.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Lee Barbarossa IV of Dracut; his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Furtado and her husband Vincent of N. Kingstown, RI; his paternal grandparents, Lionel “Papa Lou” Jr. and Patricia Barbarossa of Billerica; his aunts and uncles, Louie Barbarossa and his wife Carol of FL, Scott Barbarossa of Windham, NH, Eleanore (Barbarossa) Moore and her husband Mike of Dracut, Patricia Barbarossa of Billerica, Rachael (Barbarossa) Page and her husband Scott of Manchester, NH, John Barbarossa and his wife Janet of Billerica, Jeffrey Steininger of Taunton, Christopher Furtado of Houston, TX, Brendon Furtado and his wife Nicole of Coventry, RI;, and Karin (Steininger) Wood of Somerset, MA; his longtime girlfriend, Brittney Pulsifer of Hudson, NH; his best friends, Craig Long and Joshua Collupy, both of Dracut; and many, many cousins.
