Make A Difference with St. Peter’s This Christmas

St Peter's Londonderry, New HampshireSt. Peter’s Episcopal Church is hosting its annual Alternative Christmas Fair on Sunday, December 6th from 11:30am – 1:30pm.  This fair offers the public an opportunity to help those less fortunate throughout the world.

The fair will offer gifts from the Heifer Fund, Episcopal Relief and Development Fund, cards from The Little Roses Orphanage, jewelry from Guatemala, and baskets from Nicaragua.  This is an exciting chance to make a gift that will impact peoples lives throughout the year, not just as Christmas.

The church is located at the corner of Peabody Row and Mammoth Road in Londonderry.

By the way, the Heifer Fund is not what you may think! Ed.

I grew up near the Overlook Farm in Massachusetts, where the Heifer Project used to raise animals for projects overseas and right here in our own USA. We used to volunteer there with my Sunday school. I brought my Londonderry Girl Scouts there for six years to help muck out, milk goats, pick veggies, cook for pancake breakfast fundraisers etc. The girls always were surprised that Heifer helped families right here in New England, as well as in exotic places overseas. Heifer is a wonderful organization!
