Henry K. Webster began H.K. Webster Company in 1868 when he rented a grist mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts. In 1988, that family-owned business became a subsidiary of Muscatine Foods Corporation of Muscatine, Iowa and has since been known as Blue Seal Feed Incorporated.
Originally, the business was emphasized on supplying horse feed. Today, Blue Seal provides feeds for dairy cattle, beef cattle, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, pigs, deer, dogs, cats, rabbits, caged birds, wild birds, poultry, herbivore zoo animals, and fish as well as products for the lawn and garden.
Blue Seal Feeds has achieved its certification from the Safe Feed/Safe Food Certification Program, which is administered by the American Feed Industry Association. Becoming certified means the company has gone above and beyond federal requirements to ensure that the highest standards in the manufacturing and processing of their products are followed every day. It also means the company has demonstrated continuous improvements to deliver safe and wholesome feed.
The Blue Seal Feed Incorporated Headquarters is located in Londonderry, NH. It also operates nine manufacturing facilities and eleven company-owned feed stores, with four being in New Hampshire, and the rest spanning from Maine to New York.

The Blue Seal Inc Headquarters is located on Buttrick Road in Londonderry, New Hampshire. The two story brick front overlooks a tranquil pond in a park like setting. The entry on the rear of the building is across from rolling hay fields owned by Peterson's Sugar House.
In 1992, 5.020 acres of land, located on Buttrick Road, was bought to be the future headquarters site for Blue Seal. The building, finished in 1994, is 25,080 square feet, the building and land are assessed at $2.21 million dollars. Every day 18,000 cars drive by this first class corporate facility on Route 102 also known as Nashua Road.

Has to be said: Why was Mamouth road a skating rink last evening? I drove Mamouth road from Lowell thru Dracut, Pelham, Wyndham, Hudson and as soon as I hit the Town Line: An Ice Rink! Why could every other town have sanded and salted except for Londonderry? Are we asleep at the switch? Money issue? No idea what’s happening? What?
Not the first time this has happened and getting tired of it. Public Safety my foot!
Mammoth Road is a State roadway, not maintained by the town. Along with 102, 128, 28 and little Peabody Row.
Thanks for the information. So perhaps we need to ask the state why the trucks STOP at the Londonderry town lines? OR get the the guy who handles Londonderry access to the weather channel.
It has become painfully apparent and reared it’s ugly head last evening.
