Starbucks Beams Cut from the 200 year old Buttrick BarnThe new Londonderry banking center, is in a barn style building that was at one time intended to house a Starbucks. Historic Barn Beams from the nearby Buttrick Road farm were used in the construction after intervention by the Londonderry Demolition Delay Committee. The barn needed to come down to make way for the Elliot Medical Center at that location.

The new Hampshire First Bank is located at 68 Nashua Road on Route 102 near Shaw’s Market. The official ribbon cutting will take place at noon with the support of the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, New Hampshire Bankers Association and Town Community Development Department. CEO and President Jim Dunphy along with other Hampshire First Bank Executives will be manning the grill and engaging in one-on-one time with community members.

The opening falls on Hampshire First Bank’s third anniversary. The new Londonderry banking center is Hampshire First Bank’s fourth location to open. Additional locations include Manchester, Nashua and Keene.

“We are so pleased to be opening our fourth banking center in the Londonderry area and look forward to building a strong foundation as active community members,” said Hampshire First Bank CEO Jim Dunphy.

“Hampshire First Bank is a welcomed addition to our community and will be an asset to our local business owners,” remarked Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Gina Gulino-Payne.
