Another great turn out for week two of racing at Velocity BMX part of New England Velodrome and Cycle Park here in Londonderry, NH. More and more new riders showing up every week. This week a family that races in Vermont made the trip to Velocity BMX to try out the new track, they then decided to stick around and race Wakefield BMX on Sunday.

New England Velodrome and Cycle Park along with Velocity BMX in Londonderry, NH have been gaining attention from around the north east. Along with local and regional news papers, the related web sites and info outlets are getting hits from all over the place. This past weekend joining all of the excitement were the Red Bull Girls, handing out free Red Bull and posing for a few pictures. BMX tracks require quite a bit of maintenance to keep them race ready, and Velocity BMX is no exception, if you are interested in helping out in any way please contact Shawn Dufresne. You can also drop by any race or practice day to enjoy the sport and learn how you can get involved. The track is also currently compiling a list of items that could be donated to help with the maintenance and general operation of the track. A few of the items on that list include, a small lawn mower, a lawn tractor or golf cart or similar that can be used to drag the grading screen around the track and also to transport materials from storage to the track.
