Londonderry team fights way to American Legion World Series

Londonderry Post 27 Legion baseball team is the New Hampshire State ChampionCome on out and “Root, Root, Root for the Home Team!”  The Londonderry Post 27 Legion baseball team is the New Hampshire State Champion and will be playing in the American Legion Regional Tournament that is being hosted by Sweeny Post out of Manchester, NH. All the games will be played at Gill Stadium in Manchester from August 6-10.

On their drive to Fargo, North Dakota and the 2009 American Legion World Series the champion team for New Hampshire, Londonderry, sponsored by Post 27 has a record of 15 wins and 7 losses.

New Hampshire (Londonderry) is playing Maine on Thursday August 6 at 4:30pm at Gill Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire

“This is only the second State Championship that Londonderry has won that I know of in the last 15 years. There are 17 players on the team and 16 are from Londonderry and one is from Litchfield. The Londonderry boys all played in LAFA from age 6 on.” said Gary Fisher one of the players parents and team supporter.

Team members include: Adam Vieno, Kyle Neverman, Sean Caron, Brian Finnegan, Jeff Dalzell, Chris Verryt, CJ Flanders, Geoff Fisher, Jake Finnegan, Dan Lagasse, Steven Dvorak, Alexander Trammell, Zach Lacer, Joey Hamilton, Vincent Parilla, Kasey Corolla, Jake Goldstein (Litchfield).
