On August 27, 2013 at approximately 11:09 AM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police, Troop B Barracks responded to a report of a three vehicle crash on Interstate 93 Northbound, just north of the Exit 1 on ramp in the town of Salem, NH. The vehicles involved were a 2000 Chrysler LHS, 2009 Chevrolet Suburban and a 2013 Freightliner tractor trailer unit.

As a result of minor injuries sustained in the crash, the drivers and passengers of both the Chrysler and Chevrolet were transported to the Parkland medical Center and Lawrence General Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Chrysler is identified as James Palleschi from Hampton, New Hampshire, age 80. The driver of the Chevrolet was identified as Janet Seidi of Wellsley, Mass, age 49, and the driver of the freightliner was identified as Dale Edson of Swanzy, NH age 36.
