Timothy Longua Charged in Sexual Assault of Minor

Charges against Londonderry man relate to fondling a victim under the age of 13 years.

Timothy Longua 41 years old of Londonderry, New Hampshire turned himself in Friday on two counts each of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault Fondling, Felonious sexual Assault Forcible Fondling and Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault Fondling.

Londonderry Police will not release any further information as this is still an active investigation with other victims involved. When asked Lt. Kevin Cavallaro said, “Mr. Longua does not pose a threat to the general public.”

Case Updated Monday by Londonderry Police

Mr. Longua has been released on $10,000 cash bail.

According to Lt. Tim Jones of the Londonderry Police Department, “There are two victims under the age of 13. The incidents are alleged to have taken place at Longua’s residence between the summer of 2012 and January of 2013. The victims reported that on more than one occasion, while on sleep over’s, the assaults took place in the middle of the night.”

The case remains under investigation on Monday March 4th and no further details can be released according to police.

Timothy Longua participated as Assistant Football Coach for Londonderry WildCats

Lougua was an assistant football coach for the Londonderry WildCats for the 2012 football season.  The 2012 football season started in July of 2012 and was competed in November of 2012.  Mr. Longua was one of a seven member group of adults, including the team parent, who were responsible for coaching/managing a group of thirty-five second and third grade football players, all young boys, on the WildCat U3 football team.

According to officials with the WildCats, “The Londonderry WildCats have not selected coaching staffs for the 2013 football season scheduled to begin later this summer.”

WildCats Provide Statement

All coaches, team parents, and board members of the Londonderry WildCats are required to obtain background checks from the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI -  www.ncsisafe.com ).  As of July of 2012 all board members, team parents and coaches, including Mr. Longua, passed our NCSI background screenings.

All WildCat football and cheerleading activities are conducted as group activities with multiple adults in attendance including coaching staffs and parents who are free to attend all practices and game-day activities.  Further, it has always been the policy of the Londonderry WildCats to have a board member present at all activities including team practices, events, and games.

WildCats Presidnet Ryan Ouellette said in the statement, “As of this time we do not know all the details of the alleged incident, and our thoughts and prayers remain with the Longua family.”

Arraignment set for Monday

Timothy Longua is being held on $10,000 cash bail that he was unable to post and is being held in Rockingham County Jail.  Arraignment will be Monday morning March 4th at 8:15am.

    This is a very sad situation for all the families and individuals involved. I hope as a community everyone holds judgement until all the facts are in. One of the best parts of being an American is that you’re innocent until proven guilty and please keep in mind only 1 member of the Longua family is in trouble.

    I pray that these allegations are untrue. Whatever you believe, though, I hope those of you in this community will encourage each other and your children to be kind to the Longua children. No child/family should have to go through this trauma in the public spotlight. They’re just kids.
