Nurturing the Soil Workshop in Auburn

Healthy, living, garden soil is critical to growing nutrient-rich vegetables and fruit from your garden or orchard. Yet many people find maintaining the health and fertility of their soil a daunting task. Learn how to nurture the nature in your soil and make your garden flourish at a UNH Cooperative Extension workshop on Wednesday, March 20 in Auburn.

The workshop will be held at the Massabesic Audubon Center, 26 Auburn Way, Auburn, from 7 to 9 PM. The cost is $5 per person. To register, contact Ron Christie at (603) 679-5616 or ron.christie(at)unh.edu. Because of limited space, registration is required.

The workshops continue:

  • March 27 – Container & Raised Bed Gardening;
  • April 3 – Fruit Trees in the Home Garden;
  • April 10 – Berries in the Home Garden; and
  • April 17 – Growing Your Favorite Vegetables.
