Maple Syrup and Coloring in Londonderry

This weekend locals and tourists will gather at Peterson’s Sugar House in Londonderry for the annual Maple Weekend in New Hampshire. During Saturday and Sunday, from 12 until 5 PM, owner Hank will take guests through the maple syrup process, from tree tapping to bottling.

Visitors will be offered delicious samples of the Londonderry made treats, ranging from sap and syrup to cream, candy and more. If you do stop by this weekend, be sure to take home some syrup. It’s great on ice cream, baked apples, French toast, and pancakes; the syrupy possibilities are endless!

Be sure to grab something for the kids, too. Thanks to the Londonderry Commerce and Visitors Center, free Peterson Sugar Shack coloring book pages will be available. Take some home and store away for rainy (or wintery) days, long car rides, or just fun!

Can’t make it to Peterson’s this weekend but still want to color? Print the pages straight from your home computer and have at it! Simply click the image you’d like to print, right click, select “Save image as” and save under an easy to remember name. Then open the file and print! Or open in Paint and have some computer coloring fun.
