Drinking in Parking Lot Leads to Second DWI Arrest

After visiting a local Beer shop Barb’s Beer Emporium this customer apparently decided to enjoy a brew in the parking lot. A call for suspicious activity brought Londonderry Police to the parking lot near Mr. Steer Meats to investigate.

On arrival they found Wayne Thomas Reeves 45 years of age from Kendall Pond Road in town, in the parking lot in his black 2010 Hyundai with an open container of alcohol. He was tested then arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, second offense and having an open container of alcohol.

His vehicle was towed, bail was set at $2500.00 PR plus the $40.00 bail commissioner’s fee. He is now scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on 03-11-13 @ 8:15am.

It should be noted that Barb’s Beer Emporium DID NOT sell him alcohol. He was turned away.

the planning board last night suspend the collection of ALL impact fees on advice from the towns attorney there is a storm brewing over these fees that were collected and i think the audit is going to show that the tax payers are going to be paying back a ton of money that was collected illegally

This storms been brewing for a long time, look at all the town staff that have suddenly moved on? The town seems to be taking on lots of things that are worse then a kids Christmas list to an unemployed parent. The new Pillisbury Road, Londonderry Road, the new Exit 4A and the whole Woodmont Commons needs…… Get ready folks, tax bills are about to go thou the roof…. Good Luck with it….

Great. Suspend impact fees just when the largest development this town has ever seen is about to begin. I’ve said it all along Caron didn’t resign he was fired. The search for a new town manager has to be reopened because the only person qualified took another job? Could it be that the handwritting is on the wall and no one wants the job (including Bill Hart who has done an exceptional job)? The economic development director leaves. The planning department head leaves. The smell of a huge legal fight is in the air and guess who will be ponying up the dough?

And oh yeh. If a court decision goes against the town the payment has to come from the current years budget. No paying over 20 years.
