Town and School Election Candidates. Few Fights

Compared to last year the roadways in Londonderry may have a lot fewer signs on them. On the town side only two positions are contested.

Town Clerk incumbent Meg Seymour has been challenged by Patti Hanley MacCabe well known in the youth sports programs in town.   On one of the Budget Committee slots Gary Vermillion and Glenn Douglas will run head to head for the two year term that is open.

Don’t miss the Town and School deliberative sessions next week! The Town Budgetary Meeting will be held on Monday, February 4th 2012 at 7 PM at the High School Cafeteria. The School District Meeting will be held on Friday, February 8th 2012 at 7 PM at the High School Cafeteria!

All warrant articles will be acted upon at the time of each meeting, respectively, and placed on the ballot for the March elections. Voting will be held on Tuesday March 12, 2012 to determine the winning candidates for each position.

    According to the posting on the town’s web site, it is one position for the Budget Committee – Two Year Term.
