EnviroSense, Inc. is pleased to welcome the addition of John Lindberg as Senior Environmental Health and Safety Consultant. Lindberg joins EnviroSense with extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance program development, Management Systems implementation, Manufacturing Operations support, and Corporate Social Responsibility reporting. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Environmental and Civil Engineering and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
Lindberg’s previous experience includes EHS operations management for a telecommunications manufacturing, research and systems integration facility. In this position, he served in a technical and supervisory role for a diverse range of assignments including EHS regulatory compliance, implementation of management systems (ISO14001, ISO9001, OSHA-VPP), auditing, staff training, management of facility process change and contractor safety. He also provided permit development and administrative support for CAA, NPDES, RCRA, SPCC, and Integrated Contingency Planning.
In addition, Lindberg has broad experience developing Industrial Hygiene and Safety Program Management plans involving documentation, implementation, evaluating engineering and administrative controls, PPE specification, and employee training. These programs also include indoor air quality, noise exposure, ergonomics, respiratory protection, ionizing/non-ionizing radiation (laser safety), heat stress, biological/fungal contaminants, process ventilation, chemical exposure assessment, hazard communication, confined space entry, fall protection, hazardous energy control, electrical safety, machine guarding, industrial vehicles, incident investigation, and employee return-to-work and restriction management. His experience also includes asset management, preventive maintenance, calibration, staff training, material handling and business continuity planning. His prior work also includes research in EHS aspects of nanotechnology and environmental policy as well as a university adjunct faculty role.
