Philip O. Presley, 71, of Londonderry, NH and formerly Austin, TX died Friday December 28, 2012 in Manchester, NH. He was born November 9, 1941 in Upland, PA, son of the late Oran and Ione (Whitehead) Presley. Mr. Presley was a graduate of Kalamazoo College and attended Johns Hopkins University. He was employed as Chief Actuary for the past 16 years for the Texas Department of Insurance. Mr. Presley was previously employed with the NH Dept. of Insurance in Concord, NH and the American Mutual Life Insurance Co. He enjoyed unique travel and sharing his love of it with his family. Mr. Presley was an avid rock collector, reader, loved and adopted many cats.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Hamilton) Presley of Londonderry; two daughters, Susan (Presley) Spinney and her husband David of Raymond, NH, and Kristin (Presley) Radford of Londonderry; six grandchildren, Collin, Shaun, Emily, Brandon, Kyle and Cameron. He was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew Tyler Spinney and his brother, Mark Presley.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held in the Spring in Glenwood Cemetery in Londonderry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
