Racks line the store featuring shirts, jackets, and hats, while display cases present customers with key chains, coasters, coffee cups, and clocks. Nestled in the Londonderry Commons Plaza, EmbroidMe of Londonderry offers quality personalized products for individuals, corporations, school organizations, sports teams, and much more.
Owned and operated by local resident Gerry Kayo, EmbroidMe opened in its current location in 2007. After working for several years in the schools, Kayo was looking for work and became very interested in the embroidery industry. When the store became available, he decided to open up shop.
EmbroidMe can personalize nearly anything, from clothing items to pens, calculators, and tape measures. Products can be embroidered or screen-printed; sewing is done in the store, while screen-printing is sent offsite. The store also offers onsite direct-to-garment printing.
This unique personalization method uses an industrial inkjet printer to dye cotton fabrics. The fabric is then heat pressed to seal the design into the clothing. The result is a design that becomes part of the fabric, leaving behind the raised feeling most often felt in screen-printed designs, and creating a design that lasts longer. EmbroidMe is the only embroidery store in southern New Hampshire that offers this method, which is less expensive than screen-printing.
EmbroidMe’s products generally serve as samples for customers; the customers typically select a product to be personalized and ordered. While the store displays a number of products to select from, there are thousands more that can be ordered. The store can also order name brands like Dickies or Carhartt to be personalized.
The store will work with customers to place orders as small as one and as large as 10,000. EmbroidMe will personalize products for anyone from individuals looking for something unique, to corporations, schools and youth programs, and sports teams. The store will also provide a designer to those unsure of their exact needs. The designer will consult with the customer until the design is exactly as the customer wants.
Typically, orders take anywhere from seven to ten business days once the customer determines the design and products desired. Larger orders can take longer, sometimes up to four weeks depending on the size.
