High School Band, Colorguard Participate in Intense Practice

The Londonderry High School “Lancer” Marching Band and Colorguard will hold its annual band camp, August 13 to 16, 2012, from 9 AM to 4 PM daily.  The 315 members will spend four intense days learning music and drill on the field inside the track behind the high school.

This year’s halftime show will feature the music of the rock band CHICAGO and include selections “25 or 6 to 4″, “Make Me Smile,” “Just You and Me”, “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”, “Saturday In the Park” and “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day.” Show design and musical arrangements were produced by Londonderry High School music staff, Serge Beaulieu.

Lancers Marching Band

Drum Majors for this year are Jenica Arsenault, Joe Conti and Danielle Souza.  Colorguard Captains are Nina Bataglia and Erin Conti.

The Marching Lancers will present the inaugural performance of this year’s show Thursday afternoon at 3 PM.  The public is invited to attend. The Lancers will also march in the annual Old Home Day Parade on Saturday, August 18, at 10:30 AM, and will also participate in the Allenstown Old Home Day on Saturday, August 25th.
