Freezer Warehouse Expands Again on Rockingham Road

On Friday, July 27, 2012, the Londonderry Freezer Warehouse held a grand opening of its new 87,000 square foot addition to its facility located at 219 Rockingham Road in Londonderry, NH. The addition is its second since the original 60,000 square foot facility was built in 1998.

In 2011, with the purchase of a parcel of land adjacent to its existing lot from the Verani Family, construction commenced for another 87,000 square foot (82,000 square foot footprint) addition bringing the total size of the Londonderry Freezer Warehouse facility to 181, 000 square foot.

The new building will feature state of the art refrigerated storage, conference facilities, corporate offices, and Quality Assurance inspection rooms. Edward Dougherty, President of the Freezer Warehouse and Highwood Cold Storage, has made over a 300,000 square foot investment in Londonderry in total.

Bedford Design Consultants, Inc., located in Manchester, NH, provided the site engineering and permitting services to the addition and The Stahlman Group, located in Concord, NH, provided the construction management services. The Town of Londonderry appreciates Edward Dougherty and his staff’s commitment to stay and grow in Londonderry. The Londonderry Freezer Warehouse continues to be a respected business leader within the community.
