Construction Underway for Warehouse on Jack’s Bridge

Following approval of a new warehouse at the Londonderry Planning Board meeting in early April, construction crews have made progress towards the December completion goal despite weather setbacks. The board approved a new 125,000 square foot American Tire distribution warehouse, which is currently being constructed by BC Construction Group at the end of Jack’s Bridge Road near Harvey Industries.

Eric Moore, Project Manager at BC Construction

According to Eric Moore, Project Manager for BC, work began at the end of April. Crews cleared the trees in about a day and a half and took another two weeks to chip down the wood before preparing the site for the foundation. With the foundation now poured, preparation work is underway to begin the sides of the building; steel installation is expected to begin in early August.

Using local contractors whenever possible, the projected completion date is set for mid-December. Once completed, the warehouse will feature a small office area in the front, five delivery bays with the possibility to expand, two small ponds, ample parking, and much more. The warehouse will hire approximately 30 employees once opened.

American Tire Distributors has supported the nation’s tire dealers, service repair shops, and automotive performance shops with prompt and convenient delivery of products, tools and programs since 1935.
