We know that physical activity is a critical component of healthy cognitive development; it leads to a better, more well-rounded education. But summer is also a great time to work on staying academically sharp.
All students experience summer learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities. On average, students lose approximately 2 months of math skill during the summer. Research shows that teachers typically spend between four to six weeks re-teaching material that students have forgotten over the summer.
Oxford Learning of Londonderry, owned by the Whitehead family, offers a special summer program at a discounted rate. Regularly, tutoring programs over the summer typically start with a no obligation cognitive and academic assessment. This helps fit the right program to your child so they can reach their full academic potential.
Designed with a difference and designed to make a difference, Oxford Learning programs bring an enhanced approach to what is commonly known as “tutoring.” Oxford Learning’s programs get to the root of the problem and correct it for lasting, far-reaching results.
