Derry will kick off the start of summer with a Kidz Night Out at MacGregor Park tomorrow night. The evening is promising to be “tons of fun”, with several games, activities, snacks, and more!
Beginning at 5 PM, children will be able to bounce in a variety of moon bounces in all shapes and sizes, have their faces painted (for free!) into nearly anything imaginable, and participate in a life-size game of Candy Land.
Following these fun events, Rick Charette, a musician famous for his renditions of “I Love Mud” and “Yellow Bus”, will perform. Immediately after the performance, a special meet and greet will be arranged for those interested in talking with Rick.
Throughout the evening, pizza, popcorn, cotton candy and drinks will be available for purchase. FunBounce will be onsite with their bounce houses from 5 PM until 7:30 PM. Tickets for the bounce houses and food are $1 each or six for $5.
Face painting and Candy Land will take place from 5 PM until 6:30 PM. Rick Charette is scheduled to perform from 6:30 until 7:30 with the meet and greet ending at 8 PM.
MacGregor Park is located on East Broadway between Boyd Street and Marlboro Road near the Derry Public Library. For more information about this or other Derry events, click here.
