Londonderry Drug and Alcohol Arrests

Several were arrested in Londonderry over the last few weeks for various crimes, including those ending drugs, alcohol, theft and assault related charges. The most notable arrests began on March 25, 2012 and continued through April 11.

On March 25, at about 1:40 AM, Londonderry police stopped a vehicle near the Derry town line on Rockingham Road. The driver was determined to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested. Lauren Wetzonis, 22 of Burlington, Massachusetts, was placed into custody.

Wetzonis was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor, a Yellow Line violation, Speeding and Lane Control. She was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and was arraigned on April 9, 2012.

On March 27, at 1:55 AM, police stopped a vehicle on Mammoth Road and subsequently arrested the driver, Adam Yusuf. The 24 year old from Litchfield was charged with Driving While Intoxicated Second Offense and a Yellow Line Violation. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and was arraigned on April 9, 2012.

Police stopped a vehicle near Auburn Road and Old Derry Road about 4:40 PM on March 27. The driver, Sergio Bizarria, 28 of Manchester, was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled or Narcotic Drugs. He was released on $1,000 cash bail and was arraigned in Derry District Court on April 9, 2012.

On March 28, 2012, Russell Milliken turned himself into Londonderry Police at about 5:04 PM. The 18 year old Londonderry resident was charged with Conspiracy and Criminal Liability for Conduct of Another. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and was arraigned in Derry on April 9, 2012.

This was Milliken’s third arrest in Londonderry in just a matter of months. In December of 2011, he turned himself in on a warrant and was charged with Unlawful Possession and Intoxication and four counts of Possession of Controlled or Narcotic Drugs. In January of 2012, he was arrested after a motor vehicle stop and was charged with Possession of Drugs in a Motor Vehicle.

Londonderry Police stopped a vehicle on March 30, 2012 at 1:55 AM in the area of McDonald’s on Route 102. After conducting a field sobriety test on the driver, Peter Hernandez was transported to Parkland for a volunteer blood withdrawal. He was then transported and booked at the police station.

Hernandez, 34 of Milford, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor, Reckless Operation, and Failure to Use Required Turn Signals. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Derry on April 16, 2012.

Also on March 30, 2012, at 7:56 AM, Londonderry Police arrested a 16 year old juvenile at the Londonderry High School. No name, photo, court or bail information was released, but the juvenile was charged with Possession of Controlled or Narcotic Drugs.

At about 3:08 PM that same day, police responded for a motor vehicle accident near Nashua and Old Nashua roads. As a result of the accident, Natanael Andino, 24 of Nashua, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled or Narcotic Drug with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Controlled or Narcotic Drugs, and Drivers License Prohibitions. Andino’s bail was set at $4,000 personal recognizance and he is scheduled to appear in Derry on April 16, 2012.

Later that day, at 5:55 PM, John Garvey, 43 of Londonderry, turned himself in to Londonderry Police on a warrant. Garvey was charged with Manufacture of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Controlled or Narcotic Drug with the Intent to Distribute. His bail was set at $5,000 and he was scheduled to be arraigned in Derry on April 16, 2012.

On April 6, 2012, at 1:56 AM Londonderry police stopped a vehicle near Walmart just over the Derry town line. The officer requested a second unit and reported that the “vehicle going 62 MPH, two males, vehicle went off the road.” Derry also sent a unit and the driver was tested for sobriety.

The driver, 22 year old Curtis Christian of Salem, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor, Possession of Controlled or Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Drugs in a Motor Vehicle, and Open Container of Alcohol. Christian was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Derry on April 30, 2012.

Lastly, on April 12, 2012, at 12:47 AM, police stopped a vehicle near the Taco Bell on Orchard View Drive. The driver, Robert Mortimer, 26 of Manchester, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor and Open Container of Alcohol. He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and will appear in Derry on May 7, 2012.
