Londonderry Landmarks Silhouette

Here’s another edition of Londonderry Landmarks! Last week’s landmark remains a mystery, as no one has yet to guess the correct answer. Readers were shown an image of what looks like the side of a house with a letter on it. A few guesses came in, but no one was correct. We gave a hint in the comments section, so “hop” on over there, read the comments and see if you can get a “hare” closer to bringing “home” the answer! Click here to see last week’s Landmark.

If you can’t get last week’s, take a look at this week’s landmark. Let us know if you think you know what it is and where it can be found. Remember, we want exact item and location! Leave a comment on the story if you think you know what it is. If you have an idea for a future Londonderry Landmark, leave a comment and Jacklynn will get back to you via email!

It’s on the Parmenter Barn at the Historical Society Complex. I featured it last month on one of my Weathervane Wednesday posts. See this link http://nutfieldgenealogy.blogspot.com/2011/09/weathervane-wednesday-at-londonderry.html I have photos of nearly every weathervane in Londonderry and Derry, and working on more… keep tuned!
