Police Arrest Several DUI’s and Assailants in Londonderry

Police Log for 12/23/10 – 12/29/10

Londonderry Police received a call at 9:35 AM on December 29 from the manager of the Easter Seals residence on Noyes Road. The caller reported that a staff member called her on this morning to “report there are footprints in the snow around the house, and a message saying ‘I see you’ on the window.”

Police arrested three different intoxicated drivers during this week. The first was stopped on Nashua Road at 12:04 AM on December 24. The driver, Alan Pope, 53 of Londonderry, was taken to Parkland Medical Center for a blood draw before being taken into custody. Pope was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor, Possession of Drugs in a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Controlled or Narcotic Drugs. The second arrest occurred on December 29 at 1:28 AM. Police stopped the vehicle in the area of Gilcreast Road and subsequently arrested Sean Finch, 25, of Hudson, New Hampshire. Finch was also taken to PMC for a blood draw and was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor and a violation of a Stop or Yield Sign. The final DUI arrest also occurred on December 29 at 4:50 AM. Officers received a call from a resident on Chase Road that a car hit a tree outside his house. Officers responded and arrested the driver, David Alcorn, 22, of Lowell, Massachusetts, for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Liquor.

During this week of logs, Londonderry Police arrested four individuals involved in Domestic Disturbances or Assaults. The first arrest occurred on December 24 at 12:21 AM. Police responded to reports of “a rolling domestic inside a green Chevy Suburban in the long term parking at Gate D.” There were also reports that the female had a five month old baby in the car. While on the phone with the female “airport security advised female and vehicle were curbside in front of Delta and security was out with them.” Jonathan Blatt, 42, of Oak Park, California, was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault. The second arrest also occurred on December 24 at 11:04 PM. Police received reports that an intoxicated, unwanted male was in a house on Holly Lane. Responding officers arrested Jeremy Sgroi, 27, of Holly Lane, Londonderry, for Simple Assault. The third arrest took place on December 27, at 1:16 PM. Officers responded to Perkins Road after receiving reports that “subjects in room have been fighting.” Officers arrested Brian Dow, 35, of Derry, and charged him with Stalking and Simple Assault. The final arrest occurred on South Road at 6 PM on December 27. Londonderry Police received reports of an assault. Upon arrival, Allen Black, 26 of South Road, Londonderry, was issued a hand summons, and Christopher Kobylis, also 26, of South Road, Londonderry, was arrested. Both were charged with Simple Assault.

Each week, Londonderry Hometown Online News will publish the police logs for your review. We will also pick the most interesting of the stories. If there are any that you found interesting or funny and think they should be in the top three, feel free to contact us.

While we also create original stories from information in the police log and other sources, we offer you nearly the entire Londonderry police blotter! At times we remove small pieces of information like phone numbers or obscene language. When other media outlets only provide their “Selections” from the log, if you select “read more” you select what interests you in Londonderry.
