Matthew Thornton Hosts Annual Haunted Harvest

Londonderry’s Haunted Harvest, an annual event organized by the Matthew Thornton PTA, is scheduled to take place this weekend. On Saturday, October 30, children are invited to attend, with their parents, from 10 AM until 3 PM. Be sure to dress in costume; a fun parade will take place at 3 PM!

In addition to the parade, the Haunted Harvest has a full day of fun planned! Games include Coffin Catch, Spin Wheel, Bean Bag Toss, Pumpkin Shoot, Dunk A Witch, Ghost Bowling and Football Throw. The Haunted Lab, while not scary, will have all sorts of gross things to touch and feel. Face painting and temporary tattoos will also be part of the fun.

Wristbands will be available for purchase at the door and will give children access to all the games and activities. Children will be able to pick a prize at each activity they participate in. Wristbands are $5 each, with a $20 maximum for a family. Children 2 and under are free.

Fall baskets will be on display during the Haunted Harvest. They will be raffled off at 3 PM that day; winners do not have to be present to win. Tickets for baskets will be sold separately. Sponsored by the Moose Hill PTA, a concession stand and bake sale will also be at the festival and a book fair will be in the school’s library.
