Londonderry Band, and You, Invited to Celtics and Monarchs Games

The Lancer Drumline and the Lancer Marching Band and Colorguard have been invited to perform at both a Celtics game and a Monarchs game. The Drumline will perform at the half time show at the Boston Celtics vs. NY Knicks game on Tuesday, February 23. The Band and Colorguard will perform on ice for the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday, March 7 between the first and second periods, before the game as well as the National Anthem.

The Celtics gave Londonderry High School 200 tickets, all for the Promenade Section. These tickets are available for purchase for $45.00 each. Tickets are expected to sell out, so call ahead to reserve! The deadline for ordering tickets is February 9, 2010. On Monday, February 15th, tickets for the Celtics’ game will be distributed to each school in the District. Payment is due on the date of delivery. Checks can be made payable to Friends of Music.

Tickets for the Manchester Monarchs game will be available for $12 a piece. Face value of the tickets is $16. They will be available for purchase until March 2, 2010. Checks can be made payable to Friends of Music, and will be collected on delivery day. The tickets will be given to each school on Friday, March 5th. Don’t miss your opportunity to see over 300 members of the Marching Band and Colorguard perform on ice!

The Celtics’ game does take place during February vacation, so don’t miss this opportunity to take your children to a real basketball game! The game begins at 7:30 PM. The Monarchs’ game is an afternoon game, at 3 PM. Free prizes and fun times for all ages are a must at the Monarchs’ games. Don’t miss out!
