From the National Weather Service

Snow may become heavy at times Saturday night into Sunday in southern New Hampshire and Maine.

6 More inches of snow, Londonderry

Low pressure moving out of the Ohio valley this evening will track northeast and be near Cape Cod by early Sunday morning. This will bring snow to Londonderry and much of New Hampshire and western Maine overnight before ending Sunday afternoon.

Heaviest snowfall amounts will be across southernmost New Hampshire including Londonderry and extreme southern Maine. Because of the cold temperatures the snow is expected to be light and fluffy with the potential of 6 or more inches in Londonderry.

Less in the way of accumulation is expected in northern Maine and New Hampshire which will be on the northern edge of the storm.

Look for travel to quickly become hazardous late this evening and overnight especially in southern portions of Maine and New Hampshire.

  • A winter storm watch remains in effect for Londonderry from this evening through Sunday afternoon.

Expect snow to develop from southwest to northeast across the watch area this evening through the early morning hours with 6 or more inches of accumulation possible by Sunday afternoon.

A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor Londonderry Hometown Online News for the latest forecasts.
