I don’t see how the trailhead parking could be at end of Hickory Hill Drive. Doesn’t that refer to the Musquash area? It is unclear whether or not there is parking off of South Rd. A slightly larger version of the trail map would also be helpful.
Thanks
Thanks for pointing that out, we did have an error and corrected it.
The map is the largest size available from the Trailways group. The good news is the area is rather small, and you can not get lost. The trail was expanded a few years ago by Londonderry Trailways and is easy to follow.
used to be NO HUNTING at Kendall Pond. Offical State “NO HUNTING Conservation area” signs were posted. Homes ring the area. No signs now. Fish and Game Dept sleeping ? I’m not. Sunday morning , right at dawn, even today , Thurs. 6:50 BOOM , BOOM ,23 Dec. , a half wit is killing ducks. waking up the neighborhood. Homes across the tiny “pond” are not far away. THAT AREA IS A CONSERVATION AREA, THE WOMAN , WATTS, LEFT IT TO THE TOWN WITH THE INTENTION OF PROTECTING DUCKS, SHE HAD SWANS AND PET DUCKS. WHERE IS FISH AND GAME ?
My girlfriend and I went fishing on the little stream coming put of the pond this past weekend…she caught a small silver fish that I have no idea what it is. Ive done a fair amount of fishing and have never seen a fish like this. It looms like a smelt, but it was 3 to 4 times the size of a smelt…it also had ths mouth of a bottom feeding fish, unlike a smelt. I was just curious of the breed of fish and whether this pond is stocked or not
it was a white fish, they are good to eat i catch them up north and down here also.
